A great find, perfect as a base for exploring Skye. We stayed there recently (wife, daughter, and myself) and I couldn't really have asked for more from the cabin we stayed in. The 'wigwams' may be small, but they are fully featured with a double bed and sofa bed, hob, microwave, fridge, table and chairs, shower room. There is no TV, which is a good thing. Our one-year-old loved it!

Portree is a short walk away, as is the fantastic Scorrybreac route. The Old Man of Storr is a short drive behind the cabins, and the Cuillins form a grand view to the front. Just by the side of the cabins is an old ruined hillfort.

If there had to be a detractor here, it would be that the wigwams are not immune to the sounds of the adjacent cattle grid being driven over. That's really all I can think of...

We've been there this september and it is a very nice place, confortable, clean and pretty new. It has heater in the main room and in the toilet too, although the last one is not very strong. Margareth is really nice and ready to answer any of our questions about Skye. The only negative point we would say is that it has no extractor hood and while we were cooking, the smoke alarm switched on. We think for one or two persons is perfect, for three is acceptable (we were 3), and maybe for 4 is too small. We recommend this place!!
